Yume Pictures (YP) is a film production company engaged in the development and production of independent feature films and documentaries for television and theatrical release.

Yume Pictures was formed in June of 2005 as a privately held Sole Proprietorship with the intent of specializing in the development and production of independent feature films, short movies and documentaries for global theatrical, television and video markets. The partners of Yume Pictures will utilize their combined industry experience to promote and sell their films to the international market.

Yume Picture strives to find the perfect balance of art and business approach with their films thus satisfying both audience and investors needs.

Mission

Our mission is to provide quality feature films and documentaries for all audiences that are entertaining, non-offensive, uplifting, thought-provoking and socially concious.

Most of all, we will never lose sight of our audience as we bring to life very personal stories of people; enlighten and entertain with the quiet power of truth and simple goodness.

Objectives

a) Develop scripts with outside writers
b) Produce theatrical and television feature films and documentaries with budgets from $50,000 to $3 millions
c) Explore overseas co-production and co-financing potential for the company
d) Distribute films through independent distribution companies
e) Produce documentaries with strong stories, characters and visuals that are successful at box office

Our goal is to produce quality documentaries that entertain, jolt and educate at the same time, films that are also profitable and conscientious with respect to content and budget that will appeal to the distributors.

Management and Organization

Yume Pictures is compromised of one principal, as well as a talented pool of experienced support staff. The partners also possess established relationships with a team of outside associates to assist with their production on an as-needed basis.

In addition to those specialists, there are several industry and production entities with which Yume Pictures retains active relationships.

We have assembled a team with varied and wide expertise. We have formed relationships with key consultants and advisors, who are available on an as-needed basis. The expertise provided by our staff and advisors includes pre-production, production, postproduction, distribution, legal, directing, sound, without exception every aspect of the motion picture business.
